arc 001. Elizar's life is one of privilege, and his blindness toward it has earned him few friends.
Born to a Lord and Lady of high standing in Ishgard, as their only heir it earned him far too many excuses for getting away from the front lines.When his parents divorced and both remarried, he somehow found himself the sole heir to not only his father's family name and fortune, but also his mother's. When he finally found his passion in writing, the heretical romances that filled his books earned him no small amount of threats.Afraid that their son's naivete would be his downfall, his parents encouraged him to spend a bit of time abroad... Surely such awful writing is just a fad.

arc 002. Elizar is currently renting an apartment with its very own window, several pipes that hiss boiling steam whenever he looks at them wrong, and no overhead lighting. He's getting a great deal on it - what's a banana worth anyway? Twelve dollars?despite how little involvement he has in society with his peers, elizar seems to know an awful lot about everyone and everything. some people think he just doesn't spend much time reading anything other than the gossip column...
